Hey Guys,
Recently I (Daisy) have just finished reading 'The Tiny Wife' by Andrew Kaufman, also the author of 'All My Friends Are Superheroes'. The real reason I bought this book was because I saw the front cover on Tumblr and thought it looked really interesting, so naturally I googled what it was to find out it was a book; normally I only buy books from recomendations from friends or an author I likes written a new book, but once I read the blurb I couldn't resist.
"A robber charges into a bank with a loaded gun, but instead of taking any money he steals an item of sentimental value from each person. Once he has made his escape, strange things start to happen to the victims.
A tattoo comes to life, a husband turns into a snowman, a baby starts to shit money. And Stacey Hinterland discovers that she's shrinking, a little every day, and there is seemingly nothing that she or her husband can do to reverse the process."
I won't tell you what happens in the book in case you end up buying it but it's a lovely story; it's split into 3 books and jammed into only 88 pages. Unlike Holly I can only read short books because I get really bored, stop reading the book and forget what's happened; this book was lovely because it only took me a day to read.
Although this book is a bit pricey on Waterstones for £8.00, I found it cheaper on Amazon for £6.90, it's a very nice read but I would only recommend it to people who like short stories. Also, I know Holly has nearly finished her current book and I also bought more books ready to read so there should be some upcoming reviews.

Doctor Who
Hey Guys,
So May 24th was the last Doctor Who until November 23rd and if you love Doctor Who as much as we do, you'll find that very depressing. I think we all can agree that it was a very tense and dramatic episode, and the next episodes will be the 50th anniversary with David Tennant and Billie Piper visiting with lots of other twists!
I (Holly) have watched Doctor Who for a long time and although I think that some of the previous series have been scarier, I have loved this series due to the complex Clara story line and original episodes. Matt Smith is my favourite doctor so far, he brings a fun and eccentric side out of the Doctor, but I do agree that David Tennant was also something special. Unfortunately I have had a very busy month and have been finding it really difficult to watch Doctor Who on the night it is aired and have therefore been having to watch it on BBC Iplayer, having to wait just a few more days than normal was torture but it was always worth it when I finally managed to find the time to watch it. I really like Clara Oswald , the assistant at the moment, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman, I think it is clever how the writers had incorporated her into earlier episodes without letting on that we were going to meet her again, by doing this they have been able to create a complex storyline around Clara. I think Clara is great and her and Matt obviously get on very well, which is important. I do miss Amy and Rory though, I really enjoyed their time on Doctor Who. I can't wait for November when David Tennant and Billie Piper will be back, bring it on!
I (Daisy) found the whole series brilliant, I think Matt Smith is an amazing Doctor (although my favourite Doctor is David Tennant) because of his quirky style, his lovely bow tie and his general acting skills and I think Jenna-Louise Coleman is a superb assistant, probably my favourite so far although Catherine Tate (Donna) was hilarious and I personally think raised the bar for the assistants. I loved the story lines, they're planned so well and when they do the previews, 'Next Time', I'm so intrigued to watch it and I'm always at the T.V bang on time; however I have found that the special effects aren't the best compared to last series and it's slightly put me off the new writers.
At the end of the episode I was fairly confused about John Hurt appearing, as Matt said that he was the only one that broke the promise (keeping the Doctor name) but then it said, 'Introducing a John Hurt as the Doctor', but Matt said he wasn't the Doctor so how can he be the new Doctor and Matt as to regenerate before having there's a new Doctor and I'm SO CONFUSED, and November is to far away and I need an explanation!!!
So until November rolls around there are multiple videos you can watch on YouTube about the 50th anniversary and if you still can't wait you can just keep watching the episodes on BBC iPlayer like we are and for more info visit the BBC news website.

Song of the week
Hey Guys,
My (Daisy) turn for song of the week. This is an old song (well not recently heard) from the band The Musgraves, which Holly actually got me into, and the song i've chosen is Last of Me. I haven't listened to it for ages but before I completely forgot about it, I thought I'd share is with you. I believe the song is from their debut album 'Last of Me' which you can easily buy off iTunes.

Robot Unicorn Attack 2
Hey Guys,
Hopefully Holly won't mind me posting this, but last week our friend told me about this app called Robot Unicorn Attack 2 (RUA2) and at first I was pessimistic about it just from hearing the name but once I had downloaded it I was immediately addicted.
The whole point of the game is to score lots of points for your team (Inferno or Rainbow) and complete goals, this sounds like any other game but it's so much better as you're playing as a robot Unicorn.
There are giants you're meant to 'dash' through and also stars to earn extra points, you have to jump through hoops, collect fairies and collect these little blue things that look a lot like the wisps from Brave. With these little wisp things you can buy yourself out of the challenges which you find to hard and customise your Unicorn's horn, body armour, tail/mane and can give it wings. At rank 15 you're able to reach the 'Ice World', which i'm one rank off, so I assume you can also get into other worlds the higher the rank you are.

I've only got RUA2 but there is also the first RUA which I've heard is just as good; I hope this post as intrigued you to download RUA2 and see how awesome it is yourself.

Iron Man 3
Hey Guys,
Unfortunately Holly has gone on holiday to Somerset until Sunday so that means I'm in charge of the blog (scary!)
So I think a month ago or something I went to see Iron Man 3 with two of my friends, however not Holly because she's into more chic flick films!
Anyway words cannot describe how awesome this film was, if you've always been a Marvel/Iron Man enthusiast or a new comer you won't be disappointed!
Robert Downey Jr is flawless in this film and I have extremely high expectations for him in Avenger Assemble 2.
The short version of the film is; There's is a terrorist attack and Tony wants to defend everybody, he gets in lots of trouble; he's house is blown up and he gets into a fight with Pepper because he bought her a giant bunny rabbit. The bad guy in the film is Aldrich Killian, played by Guy Pearce, who injects people to fix them; he was originally disabled and found a cure to fix himself, and he then went on to inject war veterans to heal them and their only side effect is when they're angry their blood boils and they're able to burn things by simply touching them (I think). So this Aldrich guy kidnaps Pepper and starts injecting her, Tony saves her by setting all of his Suits on him and surprise surprise everybody is saved. However there is a twist, at the very end Pepper has an operation to get rid of the stuff which was injected into her so she's normal again and Tony removes his chest plate!!!
This left my friends and I so confused as to whether Iron Man 3 was meant to be made before Avengers 2 or after; we came to the conclusion it was made for before, because the Suits can be used without the chest plate as he gave a Suit to his friend James Rhodes, Don Cheadle, who is now called the Iron Patriot; meaning they could continue to be used in Avengers 2.
The only bad thing about the film was the extra scene; at the beginning of the film a man came in to tell use there was an extra scene at the end of the credits, so naturally my friends and I waited through the credits, which were nearly as long as the whole film, to find out the extra scene was only 3 minutes a long, wasn't relevant to the story and in general didn't need to know about (Tony was in his therapist's office reciting the story).
Hopefully if you haven't seen Iron Man 3 you'll want to go see it and let's hope 2015 rolls round fast for Avengers Assemble 2.

Song Of The Week
Hey Guys,
It is my (Holly) turn to choose the song of the week, sorry it's late. I have chosen the song 'Once' by Emma Stevens. I have chose this song because it is really upbeat and puts me in a good mood, I think a lot of people can relate to the lyrics. Emma isn't currently a signed artist, although she should be! This isn't the sort of song I would usually listen too and the first time I heard it I wasn't sure I liked it, but the more I have listened to it the more I love it and I hope you will too.

Inspirational Person Of The Month
Hey Guys,
May's Inspirational Person Of The Month is...
JUNO TEMPLE
Juno Violet Temple is an actress and we first fell in love with her in St. Trinians, in which she plays Celia. She is a fun and talented person, who like Gillian (previous inspiration) has amazing hair.
Juno comes from a showbiz family, her mum is a producer and her dad is a film director. She was born on July 21st 1989 and has been in 33 films, including Wild Child and The Dark Knight Rises.
By the age of 4 Juno had her heart set on becoming an actress and at age 15 landed the role as Lola in the film Atonement, in which she had to dye her hair ginger. Since then Juno has swapped between blonde and ginger hair on a regular basis.
Her style is very cool and laid back, her beautiful hair (whatever the colour) completes the grungey yet slightly hippy look she rocks so well. Juno is quite short, standing at only 5 foot 2 so is a big fan of heels, we love the heeled boots she wore to a Mulberry Party a few years ago.
She has been featured in many magazines including Teen Vogue and was recently featured in a magazine called Hunger and another called Wonderland.

Song of the Week
Hey Guys ,
This week it is my (Holly) turn to choose the song of the week. I have chosen The Ballad of Mona Lisa , which is by Panic At The Disco. I had completely forgotten about this song until a few weeks ago when I heard it on the radio, just to warn you it is catchy and has been stuck in my head for several weeks now. They are an American Rock band who formed in 2004, here is the song and also a great video of one of their acoustic performances of the song, enjoy!
