Song Of The Week

Hey Guys,
I was on youtube the other day and found an absolutely beautiful cover of 'Sweater Weather' by Max Schneider & Alyson Stoner. The song is originally by The Neighbourhood and although I love the original song I think Max and Alyson's cover is inspired. I could listen to it all day.

Song of the Week

Hey Guys,
It feels like I haven't posted on here in ages, but as Holly said we have our wonderful GCSEs to revise for :( Anyway the song I've chosen is 'Wrong Direction' by Passenger, which is a lovely summery upbeat song.

A year and a bit later!

Hey Guys,

On the 4th April 2013, we decided to start a blog as a way to do something useful with our time and to share our interests. It has now been more than a year and we have had 6,500+ page views from across the world!
We really love running Haisy and we are so glad that so many of you take the time to read it. Sorry we have been posting less recently but we are doing our GCSEs. We will soon be back and summer will be full of exciting posts!

Thanks for reading,

Song Of The Week

Hey Guys,
The Song of the Week this week is 'Cry Baby' by Cee Lo Green. It is really upbeat and when I heard it on the radio I instantly fell in love with it. The video is inspired by 1960's America so is really fun, think a watered down version of hairspray! The video stars Jaleel White as Cee Lo Green.

Review: Rimmel London Stay Matt Foundation

Hey Guys,

I bought Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation a few weeks ago in Boots. I have very pale skin and it is really hard to find foundation that is light enough, I don't want to end up looking unnaturally orange! One of the best things about this foundation is that it is the perfect shade for me, finally a foundation that is light enough. I bought one of the lightest shades which was called 'light porcelain' (010).

The foundation is really smooth and light, you hardly feel like you are wearing any and you only have to use a tiny bit. It had great coverage, which is good as the tube isn't actually that big and you only have to use a little bit to hide blemishes. I have only used this twice so far but really love the results I have got. So long as you blend it in well, I recommend using your finger not a makeup brush, this will help you to achieve the best matte finish

My only complaint is that it tends to stick to dry areas on the skin, this can make these areas more noticeable and obviously nobody wants that. I would recommend exfoliating and moisturising before using the foundation to avoid dry skin.

Overall I think this foundation has been worth the £5.99 I payed for it. You can buy it here. I would also recommend Rimmel London's Stay Matte Pressed Powder as it is an excellent product, you can buy that here, and it is only £3.99, what a bargain!

Song of the Week

Hey Guys.
The most common song you would have heard from American Authors would be 'Best day of my life' - which was also one of my previous SOTW, but my new favourite is 'Trouble'.
