Hey Guys,
One of my favourite celebrities has to be Paloma Faith, she has such a bubbly personality and gorgeous voice. I have been listening to her music a lot recently and one of my favourite tracks is 'Picking Up the Pieces'.
I am lucky enough to be going to see Paloma later this year, whilst she is on her forest tour, and I am so looking forward to it! At the V Festival a few years ago we caught her for a few minutes. She looked and sounded incredible so I can't wait to see her for real.

Hey Guys,
After Christmas I hit the January sales, just like the rest of you I assume, and picked up some great bargains! Since then I have also bought a few nice bits and bobs and I felt if I left this any longer the haul would be huge. So here goes...

My favourite things from this haul are my TK Maxx Shoes, my Vintage Honey Jumper and my blue and black dress from Primark, which I need to find an excuse to wear!
One thing to mention is that I would really recommend the user polomocha (Polo & Mocha) on Etsy. They sell great vintage clothes at really reasonable prices and my dungaree dress arrived in just two weeks, I thought, considering it came from America, this was really fast. I will definitely be buying from them again.

Song of the Week
Hey Guys,
Florence + The Machine has just released a new album called "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful"; naturally being a fan I had to mention this album. Unfortunately the album is only for pre-order for the 1st June. BUT one song has been released "What Kind of Man".

Hey Guys,
We are on the 8th post and have reached H in our Alphabet of Style. As it is Valentines Day tomorrow I thought I would do 'Hearts' as this post's theme, just to be vaguely topical. This definitely has the possibility of being quite a naff-cheesy post but hopefully I won't fall into that trap and can prove to you all that you can look great dressed in hearts.

Red Heart Headband £6.00 - Topshop
Heart Cut Out iPhone 5 Case - Accessorize

Song of the Week
Hey Guys,
This week my song is 'Rip Van Winkle' by Shannon and The Clams. I discovered this band a few weeks ago and there is just something about this track that has me listening to it all the time.
I like how it is a bit different, and there is quite a lot of music going round at the moment with a similar sound, you just have to search for it! The rhythm of this song is great for a impromptu solo dance session, i.e. me dancing in my bedroom, and 'Rip Van Winkle' is from Shannon and The Clams' album 'Dreams in The Rat House'

G- Glitter
Hey Guys,
I'm sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything, January was hectic! I am a self confessed glitter-aholic (definitely not a real word...), I love everything glittery and sparkly, so today I am sharing with you some of my favourite glittery styles with you because we have reached G.
On rookiemag.com there is a definite love for glitter, I am glad to find out it's not just me, here Lala explains why Glitter is 'Literally the Best Thing Ever'.
Rookie also holds many a glitter tutorial, such as these two, How to Make Your Eyes Shimmer (the most powerful tool is glitter) and Glitter Shoes (a super sparkly DIY). Both of these are fabulous and show just how versatile glitter can be, in effect, you can decorate everything with it, including yourself!
On the market at the moment are some wonderful glittery buys, below are just a few you can get your hands on...
1. Rimmel London's Glitter Bomb Nail Varnish in Disco Diva - £3.99 - Boots
2. JuJu Babe Glitter Heeled Jelly Sandals - £25 (reduced to £10 on asos) - asos
3. Glitter Tunic Dress - £29 - Warehouse
4. Twisted Glitter Over the Knee Sock - £8 - Topshop
5. Glitter is Always an Option T-shirt - £7.99 - New Look
I hope this has been an interesting insight into the style world of glitter and I will be back soon with a post for the letter H.

I think this large glitter, which has been applied less as an eyeshadow and more as an eyeliner, looks great on Cara here and would be a fab look for a party. This look is also good if you don't like eyeshadow/eyeliner and are looking for a fun alternative! Glitter lips were a trend a while ago, not one for everyday, but for going out or dressing up this too can be really different look, making you stand out from the crowd.

Song of the week
Hey Guys,
Happy 1st of February! It's crazy to think how fast January went by; but to kick start the new month my favourite song this week has to be "Tongue Tied" by Grouplove. Although I've come across this song in the past and it's actually been out since 2011, it's only recently that I've fallen in love with it. (I also love the art for this album cover)
