Monsters University

Hey Guys,

A few weeks ago we went to Telford to do some shopping, which there will be a post about we're just getting round to doing it :)

So after shopping we went to watch 'Monsters University'. This is the prequel to 'Monsters Inc', which we're 98% everybody would have seen it, and if you're a big fan of Pixar/Disney type films aswell as loving 'Monsters Inc' aswell, you should defiantly go and see it.

In the film the kid version of Mike visits the Monster Inc factory and from that young ages discovers his life's ambition is to become a Scarer (the monsters which scare the children). He's accepted a place and Monsters Univeristy, which is the best Scarer uni, where he meets Sully but don't exactly hit it off, and they are both told they don't have the potential to become a Scarer; dissapointed both of them try to rejoin the Scarer class, by entering the 'Scare Games', which leads to some bad times for the dynamic duo but as always they work it out.

Along their way, they meet some incredible, rather quirky, friends in the OK fraternity.

At first Holly loved Terry and Terri the two headed monster, who did a jazzy little dance routine when they first meet Mike and Sully. While Daisy loved the little pink, fat, squishy thing with many eyes called Squishy.
However that changed straight away when the boys were doing their initiation and Squishy's mum came downstairs to do the laundry, then started dancing to the washing machine.

If it wasn't obvious Mike and Sully eventually get a job at the Monsters Inc factory working from the bottom of the company as Mail Men, and then eventually becoming Scarers as you would know from the original film.
The other great thing about this film is that when the original came out the children who watched it were around 10 maybe 7 years old (2001), and 12 years later these children will either be going to University or thinking along those lines. It's a shame to think there won't be any more Monster films (there could be, but we're doubtful there will be), but it was amazing and everybody should go and watch it.

Love Holly and Daisy x
